Shallow Points like this often hold fish once water starts to cool. Fish can be anywhere between the bank and the area where the depth drops off. On warmer days in the spring and fall, the fish will move shallower to take advantage of the suns warmth. Fish could be spread out over a wide area.

On windy days, fish will suspend or sit further off the bank. This particular point has plenty of deep water nearby.

Any type of lure can potentially catch fish here. Crank baits, spinner baits, and plastics would be ideal although on calmer days later in spring and early in the fall I would also try a surface bait. If they're chasing bait fish, use something that is close to what they're chasing.
